HD EXPO!!

This past week I was in Las Vegas at the Hospitality Expo. I saw soo many a-mazing things. Many of the hotel guest experience related designs can translate into the residential world. I have the best time and learned soo much. It was truly an inspiring adventure.

I recently spent a weekend in Napa for a little R&R I was pleasently surprised by how beautiful main street and down town Napa was. My favorite shop was Tyler Florence's shop; a beautiful mix of new, classic, and rustic elements.

BLACK AND GOLD

I had to do a post about black and gold. When I was a little girl one of my favorite things to do was got to the library with my mom and buy used magazines (home design). At the Tracy library they were like a nickle or a dime each. Between these magazines and the JCPenny catalog I cut up tons of images and believe it or not, I said I would have a Gold and Black house. Well these colors are back in style and not in 80's black leather couches and gold/brass  lamps, but totally chic! From Interiors to Weddings, I am loving this look.

PREDICTION TIME/ CHECK-UP

Hi everyone! Last August I posted about a prediction and said that i thought triangular prints would be the new graphic fad....well although not as tribal as I showed...I am seeing triangle prints everywhere!! I am loving the bright use of color in this application.
